W-News | North Korea Stocking Threat To The United States | North Korean authorities yesterday reported to have issued a condemnation and threats to U.S. military commanders stationed in South Korea. North Korea called the U.S. military stationed in South Korea will face severe destruction if still planned military exercises with South Korean forces.

Asiaone.com site reported Saturday (23/2), the representative for North Korea Panmunjom truce in the region, Pak Rim-su, delivered the message via telephone to the commander of U.S. forces in South Korea, Gen. James Thurman. This action is also fairly rare.

This statement came out in the midst of rising tensions between North Korea and South Korea, after the leadership of Kim Jong-un's conduct third nuclear test earlier this month. The test was also condemnation from the international community.

North Korea and South Korea are still technically at war after they had agreed a ceasefire to end the conflict in 1950-1953, but not by appointment.

"For anyone who ignited the war, he will meet with the destruction of a very sad," said Pak, as quoted by the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
